Yoga Philosophy
Philosophy sessions revolve around concepts from Patanjali's Yoga Sutras & Bhagawad Gita.
At Shrimath, apart from the above texts, inputs & processes from Tirumular Tirumandiram, Gheranda Samhita, Siva Samhita, & Hatha Yoga Pradipika are taught. Thus, Yoga as a way of life becomes clear.

Kriya
Kriya (cleansing techniques) is an integral part of Hatha Yoga. There are 6 classifications & participants learn 3 important ones - Jala Neti, Vamana & Laghu Shankaprakshlana during their course of study
Meditation
Meditation is the 7th limb of Yoga. The wise say that it is the best appointment of the day with the most important person in our lives i.e. us.
At Shrimath, Meditation with and without Mantra are taught with time tested steps to derive optimum benefits from the same.
Working with Rural School
Shrimath works closely with the Government school so that the students get exposure to new learning and approaches from our course participants.
Daily 45 minutes you would get opportunity to teach these kids during the course of your study.
Pilgrimage
Pilgrimages are an important aspect of internalizing one's learning. From Shrimath we take participants to Tiruvannamalai, Sringeri, Varanasi, Tala Cauvery as well as the places associated with the Chakras in the body.
Working with Nature
One of the most therapeutic activities is working with nature, daily. The course participants take part in the farm activities daily as a part of their stay and study.
What one batch sows the subsequent batches reap! This activity fosters 'givers mindset' & patience.
